Fractured Card Fun

Hey all!!  I did a fractured card on Wednesday night.  I'm sure you've seen one, maybe even done one.  I stumbled on a Pinterest post of a stepped up card with some embossing and more detail than I had even done, so I tried it.  Guess what?  I then decided to share it with you guys again.  You'll see the couple samples I did with the Sunshine Vibes stamp set and the a couple more I whipped up because I wanted to!  You can see the video on YouTube.

May Paper Pumpkin- Mountain Majesties

I finished my Paper Pumpkin cards and got the videos posted too.  You can view the album on Facebook or the videos are loaded to my YouTube channel on a Paper Pumpkin playlist.  I did use way more items this month that were not in the kit than I normally do.  If I can, I create with as few extra things as possible for those that don't have a lot of supplies on hand.  Not this time and I apologize 1000 times in the videos.  I do like how they turned out though, even if I did have to dig into the archives.

The kit cards were all cut in half for two cards each.  The "back" of the card I used flat and made my own scene.  The "front" portion I used the kit pieces and then did different things with it fromo there.  You probably could even use the kit pieces and made another card with it because it pretty much just covers up what's already there.

Stand Up Z Fold

This week for my live I wanted to show you a new to me fun fold I ran across.  The Tatted Stamper had posted it on Pinterest and I had to try one, and then I had to show you how to do it.  It is super quick and a lot of fun to make.  You can see the video here on YouTube.  Below are the photos of the card from tonight and also the version I created for my June card class.

Cheers & Sips fun fold this week

Well, I needed a couple of masculine cards for June birthdays and decided to make one of them for my weekly live.  It is a wonderful fun fold that I think you are going to like, probably even make a few cards with it!  I did use retired paper because it just seemed to be what I wanted to pull of the masculiine look with my Moscow Mule birthday drink.  You can see the video on YouTube to see just how siimple it assembles.

May Christmas Card

Lastnight was my Christmas card video.  If you didn't know, I do a live on the 25th of each month and make a Christmas card.  I've done this for a few years now, seems crazy!  I'll have to see if I can figure out how long.  Anyway, I just try to give you some inspiration for your cards and maybe help you get a few done before the rush of the season.  This month is pretty simple, an old technique that I revisted for a fun look.  It's easy enough to mass produce and a good use of that patterned paper we have piling up.  It can obviously be used with any paper for any occasion as well.  You can click here to see the video on YouTube.

It's graduation time!!

Here are a bunch of graduation cards I've been making over the past few weeks.  The money envelope was super quick and easy to make if you still have one of the envelope punch boards.  I tend to keep a lot of my Stampin' UP! tools and this is one of them. I hauled out my punch board and started with a 7 7/8" square of paper and scored/punched at 2 3/4". So quick and easy.  The possibilities are endless with the patterned paper or plain cardstock and add whatever to embellish it up.  I didn't get a couple of pictures but one has the school mascot on it.  I copied it from the school website and through google docs or a word type program I printed it and added it to the card.  So fun and school specific!!

Weekly Live for 5/21/25

This week I wanted to use a new set that I have sitting to the side patiently waiting to get inked.  Mostly I wanted to try out the dies and boy am I glad I did.  I think they make such pretty die cuts.  They are the Sentimental Framing bundle and the stamp set is all sentiments.  I used it for both of the cards I created.  I wanted to use a bunch of the dies so I made two cards.  Both are pretty easy and really take on the beauty from the paper pack.  The Beautiful Gallery paper has to be my all time favorite!!  You can see the video on YouTube, or catch it quick in the next 30 days on Facebook.

Poppin' By card this week

Hey friends!  This week my live was using the Poppin' By set from the Online Exclusives.  I really like the coordinating dies a lot, the little faces on the stamps have to grow on me yet. I wanted to try to make a card with some strips that I saw online.  It used a die so I had to try and get all mathy and figure it out.  I like how it turned out!!  You can see the YouTube video here.
