July Paper Pumpkin is done and loaded.

I forgot to let you know that the Paper Pumpkin alternates for the Sweeter With You kit are out there.  I need to make a better list of which steps I've done and what still needs to be done.  This can get really confusing in a hurry, especially when I am creatiing a lot of things in a short amount of time.

The July kit was a cut strawberry kit.  The PP Fan Club on FB has some great alternates.  I usually put mine on there too so maybe it will inspire others.  Here is the link to see the videos in the album I created for this kit on my FB page.  If you prefer, you can view them on my YouTube channel instead.  I have a playlist for the alternates, the link should take you to itt.

Part 2 of Notes & Totes cards

Thursday I went live to show the third card I had created with this bundle.  It was inspired off of Pinterest from a Robin Brrooms card.  I know thiis one has a lot of fussier steps to complete it but I just know you are going to be so pleased with how cute it turns out.   You can see the video here on YouTube.

Wednesday live with Notes & Totes

This week I'll be going live a few times in order to show you all the fun cards I am doing with the Notes & Totes bundle.  It is quite addicting!  Wednesday night I did two cards.  The video cuts off right at the end of the second card.  It just missed the riibbon placement and the sea glass addition.  You can see the YouTube video here.  You'll see the cards are summer, water theme and I think it will be a super cute bundle to give to someone.  Check it out and let me know in the video comments what you think.

Card 1:
base is 8 1/2 x 5 1/2"
two toned papers can be cut down but the first one is about 4 3/4 x 4 and then ripped.  The next one can measure from where the tear is because it will be smaller and the same with the third or top layer.
Inside white is 4 x 5 1/4"
 
Card 2:
base is 8 1/2 x 5 1/2"
layer of the base color is 4 x 5 1/4"
die cut white is 4 3/4 x 3 1/2"
white for stamping is 4 1/8 x 2 7/8"

Christmas Card for July

This past Friday was the 25th and I got so busy at my mom's buliding a walkway that I didn't stop in time to do the video.  It was a long hot day of work and I just needed to keep going to get to a point of setting Saturday up for success.  So, I got up and got on early Saturday morning and did a live in my pjs!!  It's always a treat to have to set up in the kitchen of my mom's house.  I have to remember next time to bring a couple lights.  No matter when I do it, there always seems to be a lot of shadows on my paper.  Oh well, keeps it real, right?

The cards below are the same thing, just that one is portrrait and one is landscape.  It's always good to see different options.  You can see the video on YouTube.  I have it loaded in my Christtmas Card playlist.

Trifold Arches fun fold video

Tthis week I did a Trifold Arches fun fold.  This fold is one of the reasons I wanted the die set.  I think this is a really cool card and there are so many ways you can make it.  I have a couple of samples shown in the video.  I did one that requires very litttle stamping to show how simply you can do it and still have a great look.  Then for the demonstration in the video I did two versions using the Sunrise Sailing bundle.  I modeled my card front after a Wendy Weixler design I found on Pinterest.  You can view the video on YouTube, here.

Measurements:
You need a 4 1/4 x 5 1/2" piece for each main panel and double if you are going to add one to the back side.
two 1 x 3" hinge pieces in the same color as your main panel
panel layers can all be cut from 4 1/4 x 5 1/2" with some leftover, or cut them according to the arch die size you use
 
arch dies used on sailboat cards- starting from the outside
main panel- largest #1
card 1 inside white #2 (and the sliver of cloud cover from below)
white panel- #2 and #6
cloud cover- #2, #3 and #7 (this one makes the frame for the first version with the #2 & #3 sliver it cuts)

Storybook Moments album

I recently purchased a tutorial from Gail Ellis for this cute album.  It didn't actually take too long to make, I was surprised.  I love the projects that Gail posts, this is the first time I have purchased from her blog.  I am going to give this to my niece as part of her baby shower gift.

The center of the album is an accordian fold that opens up to several pages for photos.

Mirror Fold for my weekly live

This fun fold card was what I did on my weekly live.  I did two versions of it, one uses a standard piece of cardstock and the other uses a 12 x 12 paper.  I create the full card using the standard paper and then I got cut off showing the measurements and assembly of the 12 x 12 piece.  So, I did a video and added it to the weekly live for uploading to YouTube.  So if you click here you will see the full video on YouTube.  I also edited out the majority of my chit chat, which I may try do so the YT videos are more like a tutorial than the full on live version.  Maybe not but I think people may look on YT more for directions and tutorials than chit chat.  Yes, they can just fast forward so we'll see how time consuming it is to edit.  Anyway, I hope you give this fun fold a try too.  I think you'll be pleased with how nicely it will come together.  You can use up some more of your designer papers with it as well!!!  Happy crafting!

  This is the version of the 12 x 5 1/2" card I was making when I got cut off.  The one I did for the video is the same but different paper.  The supplies for this card are not listed because they are all retired.

  I did a quick finish of the fronts.  One is tied with a ribbon for closure and the other I created a belly band.  Just some more samples of how this could be created.

Perfectly Pears fun fold

Tonight for my weekly live I did this corrner fun fold with the new Perfectly Pears bundle and coordinating Painterly Pears 12 x 12 paper.  I think it turned out so pretty.  I got the design idea on the front from a Gail Ellis design.  I also used a couple of other stamps and dies but you can definitely get by with whatever you have in your stash.  Even the pears could be used from one of the older sets we have.  The fold is super cool though so check it out even if you don't have any of the products I used.  You can see the video on YouTube here.  Below is the card I made on the video and the sample I made to show.
